ST. LOUIS BRASS
Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 — 8pm
Having presented a brass quintet only once in LFCM’s forty-four year history, we figured a thirty-eight year hiatus is long enough. The St. Louis Brass is the same age as LFCM, and has performed over 500 engagements. The group began as an off-shoot of the St. Louis Symphony brass section, and now tours internationally to promote its nine recordings. Known for their educational outreach and commissions, the St. Louis Brass programs presents a mixed classical program with narration and unique interpretations.
